Class ‘A’ Training

There are a variety of programs that we offer for Class ‘A’ training; from larger programs of 252 hours to smaller ones that meet your skills and budget. We are very flexible and will help you every step of the way. There are also a variety of government-funded programs to help with the cost of your training program. A valid ‘A’ license is required to tow a trailer which weighs in excess of 4,600 kilograms. Holding a valid ‘A’ license will allow you to operate transport trucks, tractor-trailers, straight trucks, dump trucks, and tanker trucks. As a student, you will learn proper shifting techniques on multi-speed transmissions, hours of work regulations, how to properly conduct pre-trip inspections, how to safely secure your loads, the transportation of dangerous goods across the border, how to accurately read a map, and how to efficiently market your resume and stand out in an interview.  When you take this program, you will write the ‘A’ written test which will qualify you to take the MTO ‘C’ license exam.
